GOD answers prayer

This is a copy of a letter sent to acknowledge GOD's answer to prayer and thank those that prayed on our behalf...

This saga began when a new foster child, Elizabeth, was placed with us in February 2007. She was three weeks old, not cleared of HIV and had been rejected by eight other homes and was supposed to stay for a very short term. She had issues and was a tough baby to begin with but we fell in love with her anyway.

At 6mos. old the state decided to pursue the "goal of adoption". We were asked if we would be interested and we jumped at the offer. She would be our final child.

When the goal changes as it did, a new "worker" is assigned to complete the process. In Elizabeth's case this worker made it clear that she had other plans for Elizabeth and that unless we accepted Elizabeth's older biological brother who had yet not been adopted, then Elizabeth would not be staying with us. We love Elizabeth, didn't know the brother and neither did Elizabeth, our home was full with Elizabeth and we were crushed with the possibility of losing her.

Shortly after, the state flip flopped on their assessment of the biological mother's situation and they set a goal to "unite" Elizabeth with her mother. We never expected the court to see things the same way but in the summer of 2008 we were ordered to deliver Elizabeth to her biological mother in a woman's shelter. This was the first time Elizabeth would be away from (our) home for any extended period. We should have been shut out of her life at this point.

The bio-mom knew Elizabeth's entire life on Earth was with us, we were Mom and Dad. The bio- mom knew we were heart-broken leaving her, she felt pity. GOD put it into her heart and mind to allow us to continue our relationship with them through regular visits.

Against all sense and sanity, advise from family and friends; sometimes opposing the state's recommendations, we did not sever our relationship with Elizabeth. We visited every week and often had her home for the weekends.

Her bio-mom graduated early from the program at the shelter and she and Elizabeth moved to their own place near Boston, where we continued to visit regularly. It wasn't very long after the bio-father was released from jail and landed in their home. Very quickly life style changes were clearly going in the wrong direction and soon another care and protection was filed. GOD directed Elizabeth's return to us through an emergency call, would I come and pick her up, which is highly unusual but I dropped everything and went. This was January 2009. Elizabeth was now two years old.

Her return put us back to the beginning of the foster process again but GOD saw fit to have a new worker assigned from a new office. A new beginning but with someone that would do what was in Elizabeth's best interests. It took another two and a half years, Elizabeth remained in our home, part of our family and always in our hearts.

This time frame had it own anxieties as the court system did nothing for Elizabeth's interests yet again and we ended up in the appeals system. This case could have continued for any unlimited amount of time and for a long time we heard nothing.

It was at this time that again we appealed to you for specific prayers and we witnessed first hand our Father's response. We thank you and Him wholeheartedly.

Many might say "things finally worked out" but this was not the case. Divine intervention controlled events. Even as prayers were being said the results were realised. Only by GOD's will is Elizabeth finally and irrevocably our daughter.

In Christ's love,

Everlasting life versus everlasting contempt...

"But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear Him which after He hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear Him." {Luke 12:5}

This message has been removed and watered down by the blasphemers.

We must preach the kingdom of GOD and make people aware of what Jesus has done for them.

Believe, repent, accept Jesus; be welcomed into the Kingdom of GOD.
The other option is real and just; regardless of how we feel about it or what we have been taught... hellfire is everlasting punishment.

Either you pay for your own sins (in hell; you need do nothing now) or Jesus' payment is applied for you (TODAY accept Jesus, accept Him into your heart and life, be baptised, repent of sins).

"He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of GOD abideth on him." {John 3:36}

Paul

The apostle Paul...Are we correct in our understanding of and about Paul, particularly the Scriptures that he was inspired to write?

Are we "right with God" having that yummy Ham dinner this Easter?

Is the Sabbath on Sunday?

Paul spoke (wrote by inspiration) to "those that know the law." {Romans 7:1}

Therefore if we are not well versed in old testament Scriptures, especially the first five books of Moses (the law) we will never properly understand or apply Paul's exhortations and admonishments.

The unlearned (in the old testament Scriptures {Romans 15:4; 2 Timothy 3:16}) and unstable wrest (twist Paul's Scriptures) as other Scriptures to their own destruction. {2 Peter 3:15-17}
(unlearned, unstable + twist = destroyed)

Paul told the Jews in Jerusalem that he committed no offence against the law of the Jews {Acts 25:8}

Paul told the Roman Jews that "he committed nothing against the customs of their fathers". {Acts 28:17} Ahhh... then he upheld the 7th day Sabbath (which is well recorded actually) and he didn't eat ham sandwiches... Or... he is a liar.

Paul himself explains that the law defines sin. {Romans 3:20; 7:7}

Jesus teaches "Not one jot or tittle shall pass from the law...and whoever breaks one of the least commandments and teaches mankind so shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven". {Matthew 5:17-19}

Paul has no authority to override Christ... read {John 13:16}.

Neither Paul or Christ (nor Pastor xyz) has the authority to break or teach contrary to GOD's commandments...read {Isaiah 8:20}

Paul and Jesus expose the traditions, the religions, the doctrines and commandments of men for what they are. Bondage. Unbearable loads.
While upholding GOD's commandments for what they are "holy, just, and good".{Romans 7:12}

We have been deceived. {Daniel 7:25}

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:" {Ephesians 2:8 KJV}

1. Humble oneself... "And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven." {Matthew 18:3 KJV}

2. Believe... "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned." {Mark 16:16 KVJ}

3. Repent 4. Be Baptized... "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." {Acts 2:38 KJV}

5. Born again... " Jesus answered, Verily, Verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God." {John 3:5 KJV}

6. Confess Christ... "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." {Romans 10:9 KJV}

7. Continue following Christ... "As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so ye walk in Him:" {Colossians 2:6 KJV}

Scripture for the day...

"Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few." {Ecclesiastes 5:2 KJV}

Certainly we should be praying to God through out the day each day. All matters should be brought before Him as His Word testifies.
Yet... we must be sober, humble; having self control of our thoughts and words... We are speaking to our Creator, the sovereign of the universe.

Also, even when simply living out our daily lives we must continue to control our thoughts and words as these too are heard by our heavenly Father.
{Matthew 12:37; James 1:26; Hebrews 4:13}

Scripture for the day...

"But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world."
{Galatians 6:14 KJV}

Amen!
